Base, Frame, and Armrests

Normal Cleaning

• Wipe the aluminum or plastic base, frame, and armrests with a soft, damp cloth soaked in mild detergent and warm water.
• Rinse thoroughly with a clean, damp cloth and dry immediately with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
• Do not use solvents, abrasive cleaners, or harsh chemicals, as they may damage the finish.

Micro-Linen-Feeling Elastic Fabric and Multi-Density Cushion

• Vacuum the fabric surfaces (seat, backrest, and headrest) weekly using an upholstery attachment to remove dust and debris. Regular vacuuming reduces the need for deep cleaning.
• Avoid using a vacuum with a rotary brush or brushing the fabric, as this may damage the micro-linen texture or alter its appearance.

• Immediate Action: Blot stains immediately with a soft, absorbent cloth to prevent setting. Do not rub, as this may spread the stain or damage the fabric.
• Water-Based Stains (e.g., coffee, soft drinks, juice):
  • Apply a water-based upholstery cleaner or a mild, warm soapy water solution (not overly soapy) using a damp cloth or sponge.
  • Work the cleaner into a light foam, gently cleaning the stained area.
  • Remove residue with a clean, damp cloth dipped in cool water. Avoid hot water, as it may set the stain.
  • Blot dry with a clean cloth and let air dry completely.
• Oil-Based Stains (e.g., grease, makeup):
  • Use a dry-cleaning solution designed for fabrics, applied with a damp cloth or sponge. Test the solution on a small, hidden area first to ensure no discoloration or damage.
  • Apply the solution with light, quick strokes, starting from the outside of the stain and moving inward to avoid spreading.
  • Blot away excess solution with a clean, damp cloth, then dry with a soft cloth.
  • Note: Excessive wetting may damage the fabric or cushion. Use minimal liquid and avoid vigorous scrubbing.
• Stubborn Stains: If stains persist, contact a professional upholstery cleaning service for assistance.

Casters

• Check casters monthly for debris, hair, or dust buildup. Clean with a small brush or warm, soapy water to ensure smooth rolling.
