This chair is extremely comfortable, even for an early afternoon nap. I am retired and spend a lot of time following the stock market, sports and movies. Best chair yet.

I've owned two Herman-Miller chairs and a one Steel-case within the last 20 years. My first Herman-Miller, I bought at Costco. Sat in that chair for 14 years. Zero adjustments except up and down and swivel. Not the best chair, but for the price it was decent.

I upgraded to a Herman-Miller Aeron XL chair. Lasted 6 months. The arms were great, while everything else was just so-so. For me it was uncomfortable after 2 hours in the chair. The mesh started to sag, the back rest gave zero support. And I came to the conclusion the mesh seating was just too darn cold for me. Had to cover the chair with towels just to sit in it.

I then bought a Steel-case Leap chair. All the reviews raved about that chair. But again, to me it was a so-so chair. Not all day comfort, but more like 2 hour comfort. After two years it actually started to fall apart. The arm rest started cracking, and pieces fell off the corners. Seat cushion feels soft for the first hour, then it's uncomfortable.

When LiberNovo came out I took a serious look at it. It looked promising, but I knew it wouldn't fit my body. I just kept my semi-comfortable Steel-case.

When the Maxis order line opened, I jumped at it. I had to wait two months to get it. But it was worth the wait.

The Maxis chair is the most comfortable office chair I've ever sat on. I'm 6'5", 270 lb and this chair fits me nicely. I've been sitting for 6 hour stretches with zero problems. My back is comfortable, my posterior is comfortable, my legs are comfortable, neck and head are comfortable.

I absolutely love the lumbar support. Herman-Miller had zero lumbar support. Steel-case had a slider system, which was useless to me. Maxis is the best, with the most support for my lumbar region. Very little to no back pain with this chair. I love, love, love that.

My only suggestion at this time is to come up with a seat cover. Come with something that can be tossed in the washer, to keep the seat looking new. Like a car seat cover. Simple elastic band and fit's the seat bottom. Spill something on the seat, just remove the cover and toss it in the washer for cleaning.

I'm extremely happy and satisfied with the LiberNovo Maxis seat. The best desk chair on the market...period.

Finally. A chair I can stop thinking about. Once adjusted, it just fits me. I’m a big guy - tall, broad, and wide. This is the first office chair I’ve owned that doesn’t feel delicate. It was a bit of a slog to assemble, but no worse than IKEA furniture. Just people with big hands like mine might find some parts a bit fiddly. Invite your small friends over to help. My only fit issue is that my feet can’t sit flat on the ground, even at the lowest setting. (My family is weird - long torsos, short legs.) But I just keep my big stompy houseboots on. Might make a little footrest.

This is the best office chair I have ever owned! Thank you for creating the Maxis version of your chair.

The chair is great. I'm 6'5" and 280lbs and was using the original LiberNovo Omni, but the Maxis is by far a more comfortable chair for my size. All of the upgrades you've done with the arms, the sizing, the air flow in the seat pan, the comfort in the padding, A+. I've had the chair for a few weeks now and I love it. Thank you.

I have had Herman Miller Aeron large chair, Secret Lab Titan, and others over the past few years. I am 6’4” and near 300lb. The LiberNovo Maxis sets a new high bar in terms comfort and quality for big and tall customers. Their product line has emerged on top of the industry. I can’t hesitate to endorse their products. They are that good.

Was really unsure about the price, I have never bought a chair this expensive. But it looked really cool. It is really comfortable - and i did get the full package, air cooled seats (really cool), got the electric adjusments (looked easier than the manual way) and I got the stand. I have to say this is the best chair I have ever had. Material is quality, and the chair is different - more than comfortable- it has helped both my knees and my lower back - the way you sit in it - the chair causes you to push back a little - in order to lean back -- that seems to be the biggest thing. Oh - and the instructions - every company should do it this way instead of a small picture where if you hold up a magnifying glass glass you might be able to read it. The instructions were amazing - full color and on a sheet of white cardboard the same size as the with and legth of the box of the chair -- same for the stand full size easy to read instructions-- wow that was cool. It went together easy - they even had a large reminder for the cap of the chair expander thing -- those are painful to get off if you forget them - and without that being removed the chair will not go up and down. All in all - an amazing chair. I can actually say it was better than I thought it would be.

Comfortable chair, the Maxis is pretty wide. I'm 5'8 and around 225lbs, if the armrests were a little closer to the body or adjustable it would have been perfect. The fan in the seat works very well and the lumbar support is decent. Wish the lumbar pushed just a little further out for the back stretches. The footrest could use some more cushioning. Overall a decent setup.

Feels like the first chair I’ve owned that was built for me.

I’m 6’3 and 315lbs. I’ve had a couple from BTOD that were more accommodating for taller and larger people, but it always felt the compromises outweighed the benefits.

Not to say the maxis is without cons despite my 5 star rating:
-The price is steep
I spend 10 hours a days WFH and decided it was worth the investment of what the product offers
-The armrests are a bit too sensitive for my liking on the pivot/rotation. I rest my arms in a comfortable position, but the rests would rotate away from just the weight of resting my elbows. A bit of retraining was needed to prevent this from happening, just wish the ratcheting for the pivot was a bit stiffer.
-The armrests feel like they don’t slide forward enough. Another inch of forward movement would make them the perfect position, they just feel a little too far back.
-increasing the lumbar position pulls the back rest away from the back. If it would move without affecting the rest of the back rest, it would be perfect.

Despite all of the cons above, it’s still the most comfortable chair I’ve owned and still worth the five star rating. I’ve only had it for a week, so some aspects of the cushioning may change over time after prolonged compression. I have not had any issues of bottoming out so far on the airflow model. Assembly was fairly straightforward, only issues was the headrest ratcheting comb came out partially during shipping and took a bit to put back in properly before continuing with assembly. Everything else about the chair is great. I expect to be keeping this one for a long time.
