Sitting at my desk for over 9 hours a day with a lumbar disc condition makes chair selection a critical decision. After having the opportunity to test out the LiberNovo Omni in person, the firm lower back support and built-in massage features immediately convinced me to make the purchase.

Having used it for some time now, here is my honest breakdown of the pros and cons.

Pros

Exceptional Lumbar Support & Massage: The chair provides firm, precise support for the lower back, and the built-in massage feature delivers genuine relief during long working hours.

Synchronized Tilting Armrests: I frequently recline and lie back in my chair. The armrests dynamically move in sync with the backrest, ensuring my arms remain comfortably supported at any recline angle.

Cons

Accidental Button Presses: The controls for lumbar adjustment and massage are located on the armrests. Because of this placement, I often accidentally trigger the buttons with my elbows or hands when pushing myself up or leaning back.

Lack of Full Mesh (Heat Retention): Switching from a full mesh chair reminded me why I favored mesh in the first place. After sitting for several hours, heat and sweat build up around the seat and backrest. It makes me wonder why the company opted for an "airflow" fabric instead of a true full-mesh design.

Final Verdict
Despite the button sensitivity and heat retention, the lumbar support and reclined comfort make it a strong option for anyone dealing with back pain during long desk sessions.

It's a comfortable chair. Best of both worlds for gaming and working for 10 hours a day. The lumbar support is a nice feature but mostly because you can adjust it and set it to your preferred position and leave it. Green is the way to go, looks great in any room. As this is a very large purchase you need to do your research but the chair is a solid buy for under a thousand dollars.

This chair is worth every penny. Wow!! within the first few days, I’m feeling my back shifting and posture improving. I’ve suffered from chronic pain in the lower back and shoulders for the last 6 years. This is helping immensely. I held off on purchasing it for about 8-10 months due to the price. But this is quality. Everything feels well made and like it will last me for a long time! The fabric is nice! If you have sensory issues, I would recommend this fabric. It is soft and feels very smooth, sometimes it’s like there is nothing there. Can’t really explain it. I did get the foot rest and really like it as well. It helps having the footrest to remain in correct ergonomic posture. I work for a clinical research organization and am on my computer for 8 hours a day reviewing data and medical imaging. This has increased my focus and I can get more done before fatigue sets in. I’m happy there are payment options that let one space the payments out. That is helpful in making it more accessible. Things I would like the company to think about: making the foot rest move easier. Maybe wheels? Making the shoulder area of the chair flex as well. I would Love if the shoulder area would move like the lower lumbar area. Thank you for making this product. It is good quality and it feels like it is helping people based on the other reviews I have read. It is rare for a company to develop a product that isn’t cheap and designed for obsolescence in a year or two.

I just started sitting in the chair today and so far it's been great. Due to the nature of my work, I tend to sit a lot. I have used a lot of office chairs during my career, but as we get older, I feel our bodies especially need support. Once I customized the settings of the chair, I could notice an immediate positive change in how my back felt. My only question is why was there no charging cable included in the packaging for the battery. I know it's a little thing, but it can be an annoyance when initially setting up the chair.

I reached out to a physical therapist and asked if they could recommend a chair for someone who is at the desk most of the day. They recommended this chair. I have had no hip or back pain since I started using the chair. However, I find the foot rest necessary for the best comfort. Everyone who comes into my office and tires the chair leave with the intent to get one. I do wish I would have gotten the 48 base, but I really did not know what I was doing when ordering. The footrest and the seat depth is important. Overall, a great purchase.
