The system combines four SyncroLink mechanisms and over sixty interconnected joints, mechanically linking the headrest, backrest, armrests, and seat cushion. As you move, the chair automatically adjusts to maintain full-body support and natural eye-level alignment.
The Omni SE and Maxis Manual use a manual screw-dial mechanism to raise and lower the lumbar support, giving you precise control without any electronics. It's quieter, requires no charging, and is better suited for users who set their chair once and don't change it frequently. The electric version (Pro / Maxis Electric / Maxis Airflow) lets you adjust at the touch of a button and includes the OmniStretch function.
They both feature the same Bionic FlexFit Backrest, Dynamic Support System, and five fixed recline positions. The differences are:
From an ergonomic standpoint, sitting fully upright at 90° puts the load on your sitting bones, which creates more strain over time — not less. This ergonomic chair is exceptionally comfortable and has made a huge difference for my posture during long study sessions. The build quality feels sturdy. It’s definitely worth the investment, even if pushing the wheels into place took quite a bit of effort.
Best chair I have ever used, and this includes Herman Miller stuff. For my preferences and frame (5'11'', 200lb) This thing is unbelievably good.
I never leave reviews. It’s rare. So is this chair. The relief it gives my back is beyond my hopes. Just do yourself a favor and buy one!
Super comfy chair. I wish it was a little bit longer. I'm 6 ft, 180 lb and got the deep seat, but I wish I'd just gotten the bigger chair. I wish the headrest went a little higher, maybe they could sell an optional longer headrest. If I were shorter, it'd be perfect.
Comfiest chair I've ever sat on! Also very amazing customer support who sent me a free seat cushion to replace the old version. The new cushion is noticably comfier and I'm very happy. It was all a very easy process.
Everything about this chair is great except 2 things. 1, I wish the arms completely flipped back and out of the way but really rare to need this so I get it. 2, the seat. It needs more cushion. If you had a seat like a Purple brand pillow, that type of cushion, it would be the most superior chair on the market.
